A Bipartisan Meeting on Permitting Reform

Congress needs to hear from the commonsense majority.

On Thursday, September 11 at 8:30 AM ET, No Labels will host our second Public Bicameral Meeting at the U.S. Capitol Visitor’s Center. Like the first meeting in June, this session will feature Democrats and Republicans from both chambers of Congress working together on an issue where there is real opportunity for progress: permitting reform.

We welcome all No Labels members and interested citizens to attend this meeting virtually by Zoom.

Why It Matters

Permitting reform is a rare area of bipartisan agreement and one of the best chances Congress has this year to deliver meaningful results. Whether it is modernizing energy infrastructure, streamlining the construction of roads and bridges, or boosting American manufacturing, smarter permitting is key to getting America building again.

This session is focused, constructive, and designed to foster real cooperation. Each member in attendance will share their ideas and priorities. And for the public watching, it is a rare and encouraging sight: lawmakers putting solutions ahead of partisanship.

Our Mission

At No Labels, we believe public trust begins with public action. These bicameral meetings are part of our ongoing effort to bring leaders together across party and chamber lines, and to show the nation that cooperation is still possible in Congress.

If you believe that kind of leadership deserves to be seen and supported, we invite you to join the meeting virtually and be part of this movement.
