Radical left groups (red) believe America is a colonialist empire that must be destroyed from within. Radical Islamists groups (green) seek to undermine the influence of the West globally. This has led to an unholy marriage of convenience, where two forces, with radically different worldviews, are increasingly uniting – financially and organizationally – to undermine America.
